  • What is the Kevin Minor Legacy Fund?

    USTA/MTEF is proud to present the Kevin Minor Legacy Fund. In honor of Kevin, dedicated husband, ultimate #GirlDad and tennis parent, his family is dedicating an inaugural $5,000 scholarship in his name. The Kevin Minor Legacy Fund will support the training and travel for a female, Midwest-based junior tennis player under the age of 14 and her family. 

  • Do I qualify?

    In order to qualify, a player must be a resident of the USTA/Midwest Section, a current USTA Member or Organization Member, be a female player, ages 14 and under, have a GPA of 3.0, “B” average, or equivalent, have a Midwest Section ranking, plans to attend an accredited college or university, demonstrate good sportsmanship and must not have any suspension points or other penalties imposed by any Tournament Committee or other administrative body.

    • Letter of Recommendation

    • Statement of financial need

  • What are the scholarship deadlines?

    The 2024 scholarship cycle is now open and will close on Thursday, February 29 at 11:00 PM. The winner will be announced on May 1st.
